Hi Dave and James,
Thanks for inspiring me to fire up my podcasting efforts in 2011. I’m doing 11 episodes in 11 days as a warm up act. Nothing like a little pressure to motivate me.

Many thanks for all you do. I’m sure I’m sounding better because of your advice.

Hi all…
Thanks for having me on the show it was a lot of fun. I always get a lot from others so maybe some folk may have got a little from me.
For some extra information about portable recorders (I’m looking at you Russell) you may find this post/episode somewhat interesting about the Zoom h1 http://wp.me/pYr4c-lC
I got one recently and for those on a budget and aren’t concerned about the all but non-existent limitations that it has I think it’s a great little device. I also suggest some great value lapel mic that work a treat with it.
hi guys,
great to hear another great show Ian Kath was great, his information regarding the recording device the h1 sent me looking for it but the website information is not very clear as to where to buy from.
it was a shame that you did not have a meet up in Brisbane that was advertised as it would be good to catch up with you guys, anyway, always enjoying what you put together on the podcast, look forward to another show soon.
Hey Landon! Thank you for taking the time to comment on the show. We value all our feedback and we would be happy to take a listen.
Just remember that it is not all about budget. I am using an $80 mic! I always joke that podcasting is smoke and mirrors… it is. If you know the techniques and ways of working you too can get good results – or at least ones you are happy with.
The other thing is that if you love what your doing – don’t take that joy out of it – over complicate it and make it hard and you’ll resent it and hate it in the end. That said I can appreciate the fact that you want it sounding as good as you can with what you have. If your listening to us then you on the right track to accomplishing that goal.
It might help us to know what sort of set up you do have such as software, hardware and OS – we might be able to give you some tips and tricks to get the best out of the gear that you have so you don’t have to spend anything.
We are seriously considering devoting an entire episode to feedback and assisting people like yourself so stay tuned for those episodes when we may well answer many of your questions and give you as many tips as possible to help you out.
I am so pleased that your finding the show rewarding and worth listening to. Many thanks and comments like this make what we are doing well worth our effort. Thanks.
Glad you are back up! i am looking forward to listening to this! i have a show up too (http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/trip-with-landon-podcast/id357404136) i would love to know what you think! the audio and everything is not that great, my budget is extremely limited, if you know anyone else who could give it a listen and give me some feedback i would appreciate it! not to say i will be able to accomplish my goal or afford them, but it is definitely a labor of love, and i learn a lot from listening to you guys!
